- Description
- Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to install new security fence at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing approximately 1500 linear feet of new 10 foot se curity chain link with 3 strand barbwire (total 11 foot), approximately 1500 feet of green wind screen guard, three each 20 foot cantilever sliding gates with hardware, grounding of fence and gates, and clean up of job site. Site visits are expected to be allowed only on September 18 and 19; confirmation of dates and specific times will be specified in the solicitation. The estimated price range of this requirement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit an offer. Solicitation will be available on or about September 10, 2007 with proposals due on or about September 27, 2007. These dates are subject to change. The solicitation will be posted to the Directorate of Contracting website at http://doc.knox.army.mil; all amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on this website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Solicitation mailing list will not be compiled. Solicitation and amendment s will not be available in paper copy. Electronic and fax proposals will not be accepted. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award of a contract. Contractors are cautioned to complete CCR r egistration prior to submission of a proposal.
