- Description
- Rental of Portable Toilets for various events and locations at the US Military Academy, West Point, NY and surrounding training areas within a 25 mile radius by means of a Requirements Contract. Specific quantities and dates would be identified in i ndividual Delivery Orders issued against the Requirements Contract. Requirements range from 1-2 day rentals to annual requirements. Rental requirements include Regular Portable Toilets, Handicap Portable Toilets, same type of units with built in hand san itizers, stand alone hand sanitizers, cleaning of units and providing personnel to be on standby during football home games. Some requirements would require the contractor to be able to respond within a 4-8 hour time period. During the summer training se ason, many units are required in field training areas and would require many changes to schedule and quantities almost on a daily basis. A Firm Fixed Price Contract with a Base Year and 3 Option Years is anticipated. A response time of 4 to 8 hours is ex pected for urgent requirements, therefore, contractors must have facilities / resources within a reasonable distance to West Point, NY in order to provide timely response. The contractor must also be able to accept both written Delivery Orders and oral Cr edit Card orders. Payment would be via Delivery Order or Credit Card. Offers must provide a quote for all line items. Requests for copies of the solicitation should be submitted via e-mail as that will be the method of the Government providing return co pies of the requested solicitation. Provide Point of Contact to include phone number and e-mail address. The solicitation will be issued on / or about 5 September 2007 with a closing date on / or about 26 September 2007. There will be a pre proposal con ference on 18 September 2007 at the Contracting Office, West Point for interested parties. At this conference, the Government would be providing more detailed information about our way of handling this particular proposed contract.
