- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Opnet Technologies, Inc, 7255 Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda, MD for the purchase of (2) existing OPNET Modeler Licenses; (2) Technical Support for existing OPNET Modeler Licenses; (2) existing GSA Wireless Module license upgrades; Technical Support for (2) GSA Wireless module; (2) existing Terrain Modeling Module license upgrades; Technical Support for (2) existing Terrain Modeling Module; (2) OPNET TIREM license upgrades; and Technical Support for (2) existing OPNET TIREM Module, all for the period of 1 October 2007 to 30 September 2008. Pursuant to contract clause FAR 52.232-18 AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No other company can provide upgrades or technical support. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 541511. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
