- The United States Air Force intends to negotiate sole source award with Allergan INC, Irvine, CA for: a) 1ea Tubing accessory kit PN B-20401; b) 1 ea Access Port Kit, Aps PN B-2104; c) 1 ea Access Port Kit, Apl PN B-2107; d) 5 ea Lap-Band Aps PN B-2240; e) 3 ea Lap-Band Apl PN B-2245; f) 1 ea Lap Band VG System PN B-2250. The anticipated award date is 01 Sept, 07. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation for offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement was based on urgency and the assumption that Inamed Health is the only manufacturer of gastric laparoscopic bands in the United States. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
