Description

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for one Epoke SW Sirius 3500 spreader with wheel driven hydraulics to Eagle Integrated Solutions, Inc., 10 Trent Drive PO Box 670, Campbellford, Ontario, Canada, K0L 1L0. The procurement of one Epoke SW Sirius 3500 spreader with wheel driven hydraulics is necessary for 55 CES to satisfy mission requirements. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Eagle Integrated Solutions, Inc. is the only authorized distributor of Epoke spreaders to the military. This spreader is the only one that offers self contained wheel drive hydraulics along with the required dimension to fit into a 5-ton truck. The procurement of the spreader unit must be completed in a timely manner in order to meet mission requirements.
