Description
The 1st Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Siemens Building Technologies Inc, 1000 Deerfield Pkwy, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089-4547, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(I) and FAR 6.302-1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ FA4800-07-Q-BM01. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 The associated NAICS code is 541519 with a $23M size standard. This RFQ contains 6 lines items. The line item descriptions are as follows:. Line Item 0001, Quantity: one (1 ) each, HQ ACC has the requirment to relocate the HQ Command Center operation from its existing location (Bldg 693, Rm 230) to (Bldg 10, Rm B2002). The scope of this encompasses the decommissioning, move and recommisioning and test of the Siemens HiPath Dispatch system that curretly supports the communications requirement for the ACC Command Center. Line Item 0002, Quanity: one (1) each, Siemens Engineer Shut down and Restore. Line Item 0003, Quanity: one (1) each, Siemens PM Coordination/Energy Survey. Line Item 0004, Quanity: one (1) each, Blueprint Documentation. Line Item 0005, Quanity: one (1) each, Miscellaneous Installation Materials. Line Item 0006, Quanity: one (1) each, Travel Expenses. End Item Description. Item identified above is manufactured by Siemens. FOB point is Destination. The required delivery date is 14 October 2007. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES. Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. Specifically, the following DFARS clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: 252.204-7004, Alternate A. EVALUATION OF QUOTATIONS/OFFERS: Quotes/offers will be evaluated IAW 13.106-2. Award will be made to the responsible offeror who?s quote/offer represents the best value in terms of technical (capability of item(s) offered to meet the government need), price, and past performance, which will be most advantageous to the government.
