- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Cheltenham, MD, has an established requirement for the following flexible fuel vehicles (unleaded gasoline or ethyl alcohol fuels, such as ethanol) with 4 cylinder/4 stroke engines meeting CARB/EPA stanards: (1) Cargo Van, small, off-road, seven passenger, Tiger Truck Star Cargo Van 338900AC or equal, 2 each; (2) Truck, crew cab, Tiger Truck Star Crew Cab #338600AC or equal; and, (3) Passenger van, seats 7, Tiger Truck Star Passenger Van # 338100AC or equal. All vehicle have the following requirements: automatic transmission, AC from and rear (vans only). This solicitation document incorporates provision and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-18. Only faxed or e-mailed quotes will be accepted (e-mail preferred). The quote must reference this solicitation number. Evaluations will be based on technical ability to meet the requirements and price. Technical and price are approximately equal. Evaluations will be conducted as per FAR 13.5.
