- The synopsis is amended as follows: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) is seeking a responsible vendor to provide the following: Extended Nomenclature: Investigator ProPrep2 Block (Automated Protein Digestion and Mass Spectrometry Sample Prep) Manufacturer: Genomic Solutions Inc. of 84 October Hill Road, Holliston, MA 01746. Manufacturer Part Numbers: Pro40022, P4000335, P2000217. Quantity: 1 (one) each For a complete listing of all salient characteristics please visit the Genomic web site http://www.genomicsolutions.com/ All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation, which may be considered by the agency. All quotes must be for the specified equipment and/ or a like item capable of duplicating the exact function of the stated equipment. Please quote per specifications requested. If an item has been discontinued or is end of life, annotate quote referencing as such, then quote an equal or better replacement for the item. New equipment ONLY, NO remanufactured products, and NO "gray market". All must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. NO partial shipments (If Shipment is Applicable) unless specifically authorized at time of award. Bid / Quote MUST be good for 30 calendar days after submission Quote is to include all fees, including shipping or freight costs. Provide on quote the estimated ETA, number of days, delivery can be expected after receipt of purchase order. The Solicitation will not be made available through the GPE, thus all interested parties my contact Russell Oxford at phone 770.488.2857, or email roxford@cdc.gov to obtain a copy of the solicitation or RFQ. Responses must be received not later than 4:30pm, by the amended response due date (August 31, 2007). Respondents assume all financial costs for responding to this notice and the government assumes no such financial obligation. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a Purchase Order (PO) utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. The requirement will be procured as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12.6 in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable. Desired delivery date: 30 days from the effective date of the purchase order. Upon delivery, all shipping documents and equipment containers will include the CDC purchase order number. CCR Requirement - All vendors who wish to bid on the requirement shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award could be made to them. If a vendor is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. Invoicing must be submitted in accordance with the resulting Purchase Order instructions This requirement will be awarded based upon lowest price technically acceptable.
