- **AMENDMENT*** This amendment is to answer questions that have been asked during the solicitation phase. 1) Does the government currently provide this equipment or is it provided by the current contractor?- Contractor MUST provide stereo, speakers and all sound/audio related items. Govt provides steps, spin bikes and weight bars. 2) Also does the government intend to provide the stereo equipment? ? NO. 3) May we be provided a sample of class scheduling (hours classes are posted each day)? - Please request a copy of the schedule by emailing SSgt Fowler. 4.) Do you have a base holiday schedule that we can factor in our scheduling? - The following Federal Holidays are observed at Pope AFB, NC: New Years Day / 1 January; Martin Luther King?s Birthday / Third Monday in January; Presidents Day / Third Monday in February; Memorial Day / Last Monday in May; Independence Day / 4 July; Labor Day / First Monday in September; Columbus Day / Second Monday in October; Veterans Day / 11 November; Thanksgiving Day / Fourth Thursday in November; Christmas Day / 25 December. 5.) How many Instructors may we use? - No specified amount. 6.) Do we need to provide ID Badges from our company or will they be provided? - Bases passes will be provided once contractor employees have been cleared through a background check by Pope Security Forces. 7.) Do we provide the headset and the stereo system or just the headset for the Instructor? - Gov?t provides neither. 8.) Will you provide class cancellation or operation protocols if an instructor can not perform due to illness or death in the family? - Contractor must provide certified substitute in the instance of illness, injury, etc. Once the class is scheduled; the instructor name may change but the class will remain the same and will not be cancelled. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (28-AUG-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
