- Description
- Contractor is to furnish an assortment of operational supplies for the Defense Commissary Agency?s military grocery stores in the Continental United States. The operational supplies required include but are not limited to the following: aprons, bakery, deli and hot food bags, trash bags, baking cups, bale ties, fruit baskets, cake window boxes, cellophane fillers, bakery and deli Containers, food carry-out containers, degreaser, cake doilies, meat wrap films, floor cleaner/finish, gloves, boning knives, merchandising labels, plastic lids, merchandising liners, cake/pizza pads, meat and poultry pads, fresh meat patty paper, party trays, meat trays, shelf label covers, sharpening stone, twist ties, plastic utensils, wrap shrink shell and coin wrappers. This acquisition will be awarded as a Requirements Type contract with a base and two one-year options. Award will be made on an all or none basis. However, separate awards may be made for the Eastern or Western regions; award will be made to one offeror meeting all requirements for each region. Each offeror can submit an offer for one or both regions. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about July 5, 2007 on an unrestricted basis. Only written requests for the solicitation will be honored (facsimile or e-mail acceptable) and MUST contain the following information: RFP number, requestor's name and address, telephone number, e-mail address, business size, facsimile number, DUNS number, and CAGE code. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Further information about registration may be found at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the above stated agency.
