- Architectural and Engineering Services for the New Jersey Service District TPO located in Newark, New Jersey. COMPETITION IS RESTRICTED TO 8(A) FIRMS CERTIFIED WITH THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA) NEW JERSEY DISTRICT OFFICE ONLY. CAPABLE FIRMS MUST SUBMIT FOUR (4) CURRENT AND COMPLETE COPIES OF THE SF 330, "ARCHITECT-ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS" AND RESUMES OF KEY PERSONNEL NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM EST ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2007. Rodino Jr. Federal Building, 970 Broad Street, Room 939A, Newark, New Jersey 07102 This procurement will be evaluated using the Brooks Act (PL 92-582) and FAR Part 36 procedures. The General Services Administration (GSA) anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Architectural and Engineering Services at the GSA, NJ Service District TPO located at the Peter Rodino Federal Building, 970 Broad St., Newark, NJ 07102. The GSA proposes to award a indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for supplemental architectural and engineering services. The NAICS Code applicabel to this project is 541310, Architectural Services, business size standard of $4.5 million/average annual receipts and corresponding SIC Code 8712. The Architect and Engineer firm shall provide services that include but are not limited to architectural design, landscape and interior designs, structural engineering, fire protection engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, civil engineering, cost estimating, geotechnical engineering, hazardous abatement design which includes project monitoring services, historic restoration design, AutoCad drafting services, quality control services to review design drawings and specifications, and quality control services to review construction work when required by a task order. Work will also include production of drawings, specfications, and construction inspection services as required to execute construction projects, surveys and investigations. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)Contract will be negotiated and awarded for a one (1) year base period, with two (2) one-year option periods. The minimum guaranteed contract amount is $5,000 for the base period only. the cumulative total of all tak orders for both the base period and all option periods shall not exceed $750,000. Selection criteria for this acquisition are listed below in descending order of importance: (1) Specialized Experience and Technical Competence of proposed firms (2) Professional Qualifications of Key Personnel (3) Past Performance (4) Deliverables and Quality Control. A Request for Proposal will be issued to the top three (3) ranked firms as determined by the Board and based on Selection Criteria and Interviews. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (http://www.ccr.gov) prior to any award.
