- THIS REQUIREMENT IS BEING PUBLICIZED to satisfy the government?s requirement for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 5.1 as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only publication. A written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received must be considered by the agency.. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for all qualified small businesses. The solicitation number M6016907TC009 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561730 and the small business size standard is $6.5. Description is as follows: Line Item #0001: Landscaping for the Following Areas at the Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, SC.: Trim trees as required in the areas around building 598, the MCAS Medical and Dental Clinic. Azalea pruning is no required. (2) Trim trees and shrubs as required, around building 616, the PW Administration Office, Crape Myrtle and Azalea pruning is required. (3) Completely remove pine trees as required, stump removal is required. (4) Completely remove shrubs as required at building 888 and 610, the MCAS Combat Training Pool and Pool House. Shrubs not selected for removal are to be pruned. The deteriorated plant bed border and weed barrier are to be removed. (5) Provide mowing and trimming grounds maintenance services at the recently purchased MCAS Property, previously Delaney?s Auto Service. Two oak trees will also need trimming. (6) Remove low hanging tree limbs as required, inside Hwy 21, perimeter fence and along the 10 foot clear zone, to allow unobstructed passage of maintenance and security motor vehicles. (7) Trim 116 sable palms along Geiger Blvd and various locations. Additional Information: Quotes will include descriptive literature for ?or equal? equipment to evaluate technical acceptability.
