- Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Information Handling Service for the acquisition of web-based license system subscription standards. These standards serve as guides and regulations for Communication and Data Directorate aboard Marine Corps Air & Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) mission and as a means of enforcement of quality control of work performed by contracts aboard the base. The contract will be for the period of October 01, 2007 through September 30, 2008. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and a capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the supplies or services sought including pricing data and technical information sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the Government is available. The government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror?s ability to meet all requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) received prior to 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis before 1200PM PST on that date. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All facsimile (transmission) pages must be clear in understanding; all pages of facsimile (transmission) must arrive and reach the office by the deadline specified, and any pages of facsimile (transmission) received after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmission and should confirm by telephone that any and all facsimile was received. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(a). The anticipated award date is September 01, 2007.
