- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to NavCom Technology, Inc., Torrance, CA, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The Statement of Work describes a requirement for nine (9) each custom StarFire ?Run-Time? licenses for existing government-owned GPS Buoy applications. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated with an estimated value of $29,700. The period of performance is one year from date of contract award. The NAICS assigned to this action is 334220 (750 employees). This action is being conducted under the procedures of FAR 12 and FAR 13. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
