- his acquisition for procurement of (1) 2 rolls of Cable, 250 MCM copper for 15000 volt underground distribution 133% ozone resistant and (2) 250 feet of cable 2/0 copper for 15000 volt underground distribution 133% ozone resistant, ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) insulation conforming to NEMA WC-8 and AEIC number 6 ect. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is anticipated using Simplified Acquisition procedures. . Deliver to Portsmouth, Virginia. The FSC code is 4820 and the NAICS code is 335931. The requiring activity is NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil or email emanuel.clemons@navy.mil. The RFQ will be posted on 08/29/07 with closing date of 9/10/2007. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
