- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 517910, $13,500,000.00 size standard. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure the following items on a manufacturer sole source basis from Cisco. The items consist of: 1) Refurbed Cisco Catalyst 4500 Chassis (6-slot), fan, NO P/S (WS-C4506) (Qty 3); 2) Refurbed Cisco Catalyst 4500 1300W AC Power Supply with Inline Power (P/N PWR-C45-1300ACV) (Qty 6); 3) Refurbed Cisco 4500 Supervisor V (2 GE), Co nsole (RJ-45) (Qty 3); and 4) Refurbed Cisco Catalyst 4500 FE Switching Module, 48-100FX MMF (MTRJ) (SPARE); (P/N WS-X4148-FX-MT) (Qty 10). To maintain compatibility with the existing design and hardware, the items need to be manufactured by Cisco. All refurbished or manufactured equipment supplied to the Government must be accompanied by a ?Certificate of Maintainability? from the applicable original equipment manufacturer, in accordance with SUP 5252.239-9406 REFURBISHED EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATION (JAN 1992). This certificate must indicate, at the minimum, the following: 1) Model and serial number of the equipment certified; 2) Expiration date, if any, of the certification; 3) Release level of the equipment; and 4) Certification that the manufacturer will accept the equipment for maintenance. All costs associated with equipment certification will be borne by the contractor. All items need to be delivered FOB Destination to the NSWCDD. Provide an estimated delivery date or lead time on the quote. (How many days? Weeks?, Etc.) The order shall be a firm fixed price purchase order. Award is to be made under Simplified Procedures (FAR 13) by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17632 Dahlgren Road Ste 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110. The closing date for receipt of quotations is 4 September 2007.
