- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: Fabricate, assemble and deliver 500 Wing Cager Assembly Kits in accordance with Navy Drawing 639AS10802. Also in accordance with Navy Drawings 693AS1080 Barrel Cager, Drawing 639AS4760 Arm Assembly Cager, Drawing 693AS4761 Screw Adjustment, Drawing 693AS6102 Spring Helical Compression, Drawing 693AS4762 Pin Cager, MS19060-4812 Ball, Drawing 10001-1560941 Spring, Drawing 639AS10799 Set Screw and MS19060-4814 Ball. This requirement is sole sourced to General Dynamics - OTS, 1425 Commerce Blvd., Anniston, AL 36207, due to the fact that DRI is already qualified to produce the components in question new first article qualification test would not be required. Any firms believing that they can provide 500 Wing Cager Assembly Kits, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the service without causing programmatic hardship.
