Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicita tion Number W912EE-07-T-0042 is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2 005-18 under NAICS Code 334220 (FSC 5895) with number of employees not exceeding 750. This procurement is unrestricted and quotes will be accepted from all interested businesses who meet the technical requirements. The US Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District, has a requirement for a NOAAPORT SATELLITE RECEIVE SYSTEM. This procurement may be quoted by filling in the blanks under each line item below. NOAAPORT SATELLITE RECEIVE SYSTEM LINE ITEM 0001 - NOAAPORT SATELLITE RECEIVE SYSTEM - 1 EACH - UNIT PRICE _________ - TOTAL PRICE __________ SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS - NOAAPORT SATELLITE RECEIVE SYSTEM 1. NOOAPORT application software 2. PC running on Redhat Linux operating system 3. A DVB-S Satellite receiver 4. Must connect to a Solaris server through an LDM socket. 5. Include all NOAAPORT data streams. 6. Price to include one year of software maintenance and all delivery charges. Submittals. The Contractor shall submit the following information with his quote: 1. A completed copy of the above listed Line Items with the appropriate blanks filled in and the guaranteed delivery date of the items. 2. Sufficient equipment technical specifications for the Government to determine if your equipment meets technical requirements. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose quote is determined to offer the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote to the Government of those offerors who are able to furnish the equipment listed above. The Clause 52.212-2, E valuation?Commercial Items is applies to this acquisition. Offeror shall submit with his/her quotation sufficient technical literature, brochures, etc. to enable the Government to determine that the items offered are technically acceptable. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 (Alternate I), Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with this offer. The Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, applies to this acquisition. The Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause 252.212- 7001, Contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense acquisition of commercial item applies to this acquisition. This procurement is unrestricted and quotes will be accepted from all interested busi nesses who meet the technical requirements.
