- MODIFICATION NOTICE: Bids are being solicited under solicitation number W45NFT71710100. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. FOB Destination shall be Houston, TX 77052 The USA ACA Ft. Sam Houston requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, Vertical Carousels One (1) unit must be 77? wide x 95?? high x 59?? deep and 14 carriers for letter size tray filing. The total filing inches 1,001; One (1) unit must be 130? wide x 119?? high x 59?? deep and 18 carriers for letter size tray filing. The total filing inches 2,120; One (1) unit must be 130? wide x 9? high x 59?? deep and 16 carriers for letter size tray filing. The total filing inches 2,058. All three (3) units must have the controls in the overhead cross-member (above fluorescent work light) for easy access; the operator console must be a 2 line by 20 character alpha numeric back lit LCD display; Safety and diagnostic messages must be displayed on the operator console; all safety switches and sensors will be diagnosed in maintenance mode; the machine must be able to be turned on and off (standby) with a key on the operator console; the fluorescent work lights must be able to be turned on and off (standby) with a key on the operator console; adjustable position posting board with adjustment without tools; Recessed base for front approach for handicapped. Price must include local delivery and installation, ceiling repair, and automated security system with pass coded protection to prevent unauthorized machine operation. , 1, EA; LI 002, One Box Shelving Four (4) sections of Heavy Duty Box Shelving 42? x 88? x 24? ? with 5 opens for box storage to include local delivery and installation., 1, EA; LI 003, One Sorting Station One (1) open frame console 60? x 30? x 30? for box preparation and a 5 column sorting module 48? x 60? to include local delivery and installation. , 1, EA; For this solicitation, USA ACA Ft. Sam Houston intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. USA ACA Ft. Sam Houston is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids.
