- Description
- The NETCOM/9th Signal Command (Army) has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Watervliet Arsenal, NY. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provi der, certified by the state of New York, shall provide local commercial communications service for Watervliet Arsenal, which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Soli citation is anticipated to be released on or about 28 Aug 07. The solicitation can be viewed and downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry(ASFI) Acquisition Business Website. The Governmen t will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 13 Sep 07 at Watervliet, located at 09:00, Bldg 10. It is recommended that prospective offerors attend this conference. The conference will be from 09:00 10:00 PM (approximately) and will be fo llowed by a site visit from 10:00 11:00 PM. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the specialist listed below, in writing, of all attendees names (not to exceed three per company, prior to 11 Sep 07. An e-mail response to duane.markham@ us.army.mil is acceptable. Questions prior to the conference must be received before 06 Dec 06. Questions generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be sent to duane.markham@us.army.mil, by 18 Sep 07.
