- C-130 Strip, Paint, and Safety of flight repairs For Pre-solicitation number FA8224-07-R-3016 (1.) The Performance Work Statement and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL, DD form 1423) are being sent out as a Request For Information (RFI). The government is seeking questions, concerns, and input from the private sector on this requirement based on the PWS and the CDRLs being asked to be sent to the government. NO BIDS ARE BEING ASKED FOR AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED RELATED TO THIS RFI. (2.) Questions pertaining to the private sector for this requirement are: (a.) What Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) licenses, certificates, or requirements are needed to work on commercial aircraft in general and for commercial aircraft similar or greater in size then a government C-130? (b.) What Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) commercial requirements are needed for stripping a commercial aircraft at the contractor?s facility? (c.) What are some standard commercial time frames to complete a strip of a commercial aircraft? (d.) What is the commercial bonding and insurance coverage requirements a company must have before accepting a commercial aircraft to their facilities? (e.) What the commercial practices for fire prevention and safety such as foam or water for commercial aircraft? (f.) What are the commercial standards for laborers reading, writing, and understanding English written technical orders? (3.) THIS RFI IS BEING POSTED AGAIN BECAUSE OF ERRORS ON THE RFI POSTED ON 24 AUGUST WITH FEDBIZ OPS, SYSTEM ERRORS.
