Description

The School of AeroSpace Medicine (USAFSAM) Hyperbaric Treatment Facility requires continuing maintenance service of hyperbaric chambers, located at Brooks City-Base, TX. The Government intends to procure on an Other than Full and Open basis with Rohmann Services,Inc. (RSI)for these commercial services. FAR Part 12 applies. There are four diving chambers with high horsepower electric motor driven multistage special oil free compressors, pneumatic controls and complex instrumentations. Several dives are performed daily and require continuous monitoring and service, often provided on an emergency/critical basis. This requirement is for a one year period. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
