- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on behalf of and as an agent of the Division of Strategic National Stockpile (DSNS) for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) 797-DSNS-0707 for Doxycycline 100mg tablets in bottles of 500 each. The period of performance will be as stated in the following delivery schedule: 1st Delivery no later than November 1, 2007 242,088 Bottles of 500 2nd Delivery no later than December 1, 2007; 242,089 Bottles of 500 3rd Delivery no later than January 1, 2008; 292,320 Bottles of 500 Offeror's must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed letter of commitment between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer. As part of the award determination, the VA/DSNS reserves the right to consider additional package sizes if offered in a vendor's proposal. This will not affect the quantities listed in the usage requirements. Solicitation No 797-DSNS-0707 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about August 29, 2007, with a closing date of September 14, 2007. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
