- The VA Medical Center located in Saginaw, Michigan, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, personnel and professional expertise to perform effluent testing from the main sewer line twice per year, in December and June. Contract period will be one year from date of award (approximately October 15, 2007) with the possibility of 4 (1) year pre-priced option periods exercised at the option of the Government. Total contract duration will not exceed 5 years. It is the VA's intent to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. This procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 14 and will be advertised as a total small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 541380. The associated size standard is $11.0 Million. Request for quotes will be available on or about September 13, 2007 and will be due on or about October 15, 2007. This requirement is subject to the availability of Fiscal Year 2008 funds. No hard copy solicitation will be provided.
