- In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. In accordance with FAA AMS Policy 3.2.1.3.12.2P Procurements Involving Products from Federal Prison Industries and 3.8.4.2: Government Sources for Products and Services. It is the FAA's intent to award an order to UNICOR based on comparable price, quality, compatibility and deliverability. The FAA requires the same standard configuration and vendor as existing furniture in the surrounding area. This specific purchase involves four (4) workstation in Building 315, room 132 of the William J. Hughes Technical Center. This announcement is for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement.
