- The Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Communications (OCOM), intends to award on a sole source basis, a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to PR Newswire located at The Homer Building, 601 13th Street NW, Suite 560 South, Washington, DC 20005-1794 for newswire services. The Office of Justice Programs would like to implement a newswire service that is designed to provide news media support services. The purpose of this service is to provide OCOM with the development of lists and distributing news items, for example, press release, media advisories and others to targeted audiences. This may include local press and law enforcement audiences besides maintaining and upgrading address/telephone fax lists. PR Newswire has the technical expertise and system to reach OJP?s targeted audiences. PR Newswire offers customer feedback needed for this effort, for example, reporting on the number of pick-ups and feedback. This feedback is broad based, offering services nationwide, but also targeting local pick-up as necessary.
