Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C., is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient/short term residential substance abuse treatment services and mental health services within the Farmington, Missouri area defined as follows: To ensure inmate accountability is maintained and avoid penalizing indigent inmates without transportation, the contractor shall be located no further than three miles (in any direction) from where the federal offenders are housed. The location of the housing facility is at High Way 32 E., Farmington, MO, 63640. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on October 1, 2007, with four (4) possible one-year option periods. Services will end (if all options years are exercised) on September 30, 2012. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated May 2007. The request for quotation will be available on or after August 20, 2007, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site at http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Instructions for downloading the RFQ are provided at this website; hard copies of the quotation will not be available from the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date for the RFQ is on or about September 7, 2007. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price requirements contract. All responsible businesses may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
