- SCIGN GPS Antenna Radomes The USCG Command and Control Engineering Center (C2CEN) intends to purchase on a non-competitive basis with The University of Southern California, Inc. Southern California Earthquake Center: SCIGN GPS Antenna Radomes (200 ea) The University developed this equipment. It was developed in conjunction with National Geodetic Survey (NGS) for use at high accurate geodetic GPS sites. It is the government?s belief that only the following specific equipment will meet current needs in it form, fit and function of all its components. DGPS sites GPS antenna mounts are designed to work only with specified Radome. This specific item is required to achieve high accuracy GPS positioning for tectonic plate movements. This procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR part 13. This proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under authority FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice received would be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Radome are to be shipped to: US Coast Guard Command and Control Engineering Center (C2CEN) 4000 Coast Guard Blvd Portsmouth, VA 23703. The reference number is HSCG44-07-Q-30DGPS121. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334220 (Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing). The SBA size standard is 750 people. Small business firms that are interested in proposing on this requirement must respond in writing no later than 15 days from the date of this publication. Business must provide a system that will perform with the exact same parameters as the specified equipment.
