- Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mt. Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC), Mt. Weather, VA intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with Hunter Manufacturing Company to provide FEMA with a quantity of 77 gas-particulate proprietary filters (HF200S, 200 cfm Filter Set, Gas and Particulate) for a custom filtration system that meets strict military specifications. Interested parties may respond by identifying their capability to provide this equipment to include descriptive literature and pricing. Responses shall be sent via email to lori.smith@dhs.gov and must be received no later than 1:00 PM/EST, September 7, 2007. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by the date identified above will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS: 333411.
