- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-07-RP-0231 for the following supply item: The contractor shall be required to complete and deliver Blank Marble Upright Headstones (U1) to Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan. The blanks will be delivered within fifteen (15) days following receipt of order. Potential offerors shall submit, at contractor expense, one blank marble sample representative of the stone to be used, the finish to be attained, and testing results, in accordance with the specifications listed in the solicitation. This sample should be received and approved prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for shipping and handling of the headstones to this location: Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical Qualifications, 3) Price. This contract will be for a base year with 3 potential options years, effective October 1, 2007. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about August 27, 2007. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about September 10, 2007 (2pm). Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov.
