- Description
- Work consists of furnishing all equipment, labor, materials and incidential items necessary to install equipment placed sloped rock riprap along Platner Brook. The approximate dimensions for the sloped rock wall will be 11 ft total height by 260 ft long and approx. 3,000 cu.yd. of gravel removal and placement. This project will also include the installation of a 12? diameter pipe and flap gate through the proposed earthen berm. Estimate price range is $250,000 - $500,000. Competition is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. Solicitation package will be available for download from this site on or before May 30, 2007. A prebid conference and site visit is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the USDA NRCS field office, 44 West Street, Suite 1, Walton, NY. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded under sealed bidding procures. Davis Bacon wage rates apply.
