- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Ecosystems Research Division (ERD), 960 College Station Road, Athens, GA 30605 intends to award a fixed-priced purchase order for a Liquid Scintillation Analyzer. The intent of this solicitation is to procure one Liquid Scintillation Analyzer meeting the minimum technical requirements specified below: Purpose of Instrument: To allow for detection and quantification of radiolabelled materials used in solute and colloidal transport studies. Specifications of Requested Instrument: ? Bench top or cart top unit with Windows XP based software control, keyboard input control and built in computer with printer and LCD monitor ? Fully automated sample running ? Storage of quench curves; reprocessing of sample and quench data ? Cooling capacity ? Real time spectral display ? High sensitivity count mode ? Triple label DPM counting ? At least 50 user defined protocols for data acquisition ? Built in instrument performance monitoring for system QA ? Single/dual/ color corrected DPM with luminescence correction capability ? Section 508 Compliance data for software & hardware The NAICS code for this procurement is 339111, size standard: 500 employees. The acquisition is unrestricted in regards to business size. Anticipated award date is September 27, 2007. All items shall be delivered to US EPA ERD, 960 College Station Road, Athens, GA within 60 days after receipt of order, FOB Destination. The solicitation will be issued pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested contractors must be registered in CCR and ORCA. Award will be based on lowest price, technically acceptable product. Only one invoice will be accepted and paid for the total amount upon receipt and acceptance of the product. A copy of the solicitation package has been uploaded into FedBizOpps.
