- A Request for Proposal (RFP), number PR-NC-07-10620, will be issued on or about September 6, 2007 for Facilities Support Services for several EPA facilities. The RFP will be issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 561210, Facilities Support Services, with a size standard of $32.5 million. The Facility Support Services will be to provide professional services for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency at the following locations: (1) Human Studies Facility, 104 Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, NC; (2) EPA Main Facility, 109 T.W. Alexander Drive, RTP, NC; (3) National Computer Center, 109 T.W. Alexander Drive, RTP, NC and (4) First Environments Early Learning Center, 109 T.W. Alexander Drive, RTP, NC. Typical tasks will include maintaining accountability of EPA facility keys, investigation of customer hot/cold calls, identification of active leaks, and to help improve the Government's preventive and predictive maintenance capability. Award of a firm fixed price contract with a twelve (12) month base and two (2) option periods is anticipated. For this solicitation, all evaluations, other than cost or price, when combined are more important than cost or price.
