- Solicitation N00421-07-T-0224 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is not a set aside for small business. The Governemnt intends to purchase on a firm fixed - price basisi and solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Broadcast Microwave Services Inc for the part numbers listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. This is proprietary to Broadcast Microwave Services Inc who is the sole manufacturer and distributor for items required. The contract line item number and descriptions are as follows: **CLIN 0001 CVII-7-KIT-GRY; Carry-Viewer II; Color Grey COFDM Hand Held Receiver; for local downlink reception of COFDM digital video signal; 1.99-2.5 GHz; Includes color monitor, Receiver, DeCoder, BMA-2-0-CC Antenna, 2 Dionic Anton/Bauer Batteries and 1 Anton/Bauer Battery Charger all Integrated into a rugged travel case; 12 VDC vehicle power CLIN 0002 BVII-7-BLK; 1.99-2.5 GHz Portable Briefcase Receiver-Black Case; Includes 11.3 inch direct sun viewable color LCD video monitor (10.4 inch viewable area), Padded Viewing Hood; Cigarette Lighter Plug, Second Video Output, two batteries and external battery charger CLIN 0003 BMA-O-D-7; Discone Antenna; 1.99-2.5 GHz; Hemispherical; RHC; 4dBi Gain; SMA CLIN 0004 Mag Mount Assembly for Transmitter/Receiver Discone below 3 GHz Includes 6 ft RF cable Award is expected 10 September 2007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 30 August 2007 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discrection of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
