Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center ? Aircraft Division (NAWAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2.1, Webster Field, St Inigoes MD intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price purchase order to Textronix, inc., 14200 SW Darl Braun Dr. Beaverton OR 97077, on a Sole Source basis for purchase of (1) Real Time Spectrum Analyzer; 9khz ? 6.2 GHZ, 40 MHZ capture BW. Certificate of Traceable Calibration standard with product. This Analyzer is required for design verification and equipment qualification of the AN/APX-123(V) Digital Transponder and the AN/UPX-41(c) Digital Interrogator for Mode 5 and Mode S and must meet the following requirements: - Shall have a RF Dynamic Range in excess of 3.3GHz. - Shall decode and characterize Differential Phase Shift key and Minimum Shift Key Modulation. - Shall have maximum capture bandwidth up to 160 MHZ. - Shall have Direct Frequency Measurement of Phase Modulated Signals at 1030 MHZ and 1090 MHZ. - Shall have Amplitude verses Time Display and Measurement - Shall have Frequency verses Time Display and Measurements - Shall have Phase Verses Time Display and Measurements - Shall have Phase Constellation Display - Shall have capture and store capability for post capture analysis - Shall have the capability of triggering in frequency domain events. The above noted features are required for the intended use. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services or supplies will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit technical information and technical capability statement in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
