- Notice Of Intent To Award A Sole Source Contract The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole-source award, requirements contract, with Redlake MASD, Inc., 6295 Ferris SQ, Ste A, San Diego, CA 92121, purs uant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items per FAR 12 and FAR 13.5. The proposed contract action will be for the upgrade of 40 each Redlake MASD HG1005 and HGXR high framing, high resolution color imagery systems. These ultra high speed camera systems are manufactured by Redlake MASD and are proprietary. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals within 10 days of synopsis publication to the Contracting Office POC listed below. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this n otice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these services, then you must respond by 06 Sept., 3:00PM MST. All inquiries shall be clearly marked with solicitation number W9124R-07-R- 0020 and emailed to the POC listed below or sent by facsimile to (928) 328-6849.
