- The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Campbell, KY, intends to purchase the following item on a sole source basis from Schindler Electric, Inc., 25 South Green St., Brownsburg, IN 46112-0148. This requirement is for one (1 ea) Industrial Furnace, Ver tical Lift Door, Chamber dimensions no smaller than 30 H X 30 W X 48 L, 220 or 440 volts, rear mounted control panel, fused disconnect switch, ceramic hearth plate, watlow digital controller with thermocouple, factory wired, temperature no less than 2,000F . Schindler Inc. is concluded to be the only manufacturer and distributor of this item however, any company that believes it can meet the requirements may submit a quote to the Contracting Officer within 7 days from the date of the publication of this syn opsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement with Schindler Electric, Inc. NAICS code for this procurement is 423830. T his sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition.
