Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a solicitation of Purchase Request F1W4MG7208A004 and is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18 and class deviation 2005-o0001. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333319 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. All responsible Contractors shall provide a quote for the following: Line Item 0001: Sterilizer/Compactor, The sterilizer/compactor shall use medium pressure (70psi) steam and 480 volt electricity to perform its functions. The sterilizer/compactor shall include a 40 cubic yard liquid sealed roll off container. The system shall provide a cart loading system to allow trash and waste to be dumped safely. The system must include a deodorant option to help contain smells. The system shall be fully automated to allow one button start through cycle completion. The control package shall include; an external alarm that identifies malfunctions, a recording of each process batch both printed and hard drive, and a digital readout screen that identifies the stage of each operation. Line Item 0002: Removal of existing San-I-Pak, Model Mark VII and discard. Line Item 0003: Installation of sterilizer/compactor to tie into the existing utilities. Line Item 0004: Freight to Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska Additionally, offers must include a copy of the technical description and/or product literature, as well as, a description of commercial warranty.
