- It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This agency intends to award to Qubica AMF Worldwide, 8100 AMF Dr Mechanicsvill, VA 23111. 6 SVS requires AMFlite II Glow Pins with Air Force Logo imprinted. QTY of 40 EA. A contract for new bowling pins will be awarded to Qubica AMF Worldwide following no response back to this notice of intent. The purchase of these bowling pins must be done through Qubica AMF Worldwide because the AMF AMFlite Plastic Coated Wood Bowling pins are state-of-the-art equipment. Their compatibility, durability, quality, and reliability are legendary. They are also considered the highest scoring bowling pins in the industry today. Many malfunctions occur when using a low quality bowling pin. Malfunctions include; jamming the pin setter to a stop, breaking bowling pins, and breaking the pin spotting machine parts. All of these malfunctions are unacceptable for good preventative maintenance operations. Market research was conducted for the purchase of these bowling pins and Qubica AMF Worldwide is the only contractor found able to supply this item as we require. If no response to this notice is received by 1000(10:00AM) EST on Tuesday, 4 September 2007, the award for these bowling pins will be made to Qubica AMF Worldwide.
