Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested, a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations. This RFQ is issued under simplified acquisition procedures. This RFQ has one line item. The item being procured for NASIC/SMA, WPAFB is as follows: CLAS-NearIR-640 System for 1.06-1.7 micron wavelength and CLAS-2D Server - Active X dil programming interface for remote operation of the wavefront sensor system from an external program. Salient Characteristics for Wavefront Scienses CLAS-NearIR-640 Wavefront sensor: This wavefront sensor will be used in an adaptive optics (AO) testbed laboratory. The wavefront sensor is the central piece of equipment in any AO system. It will enable us to test advanced wavefront sensing and control concepts for laser communications, imaging, and laser weapons applications. With this wavefront sensor, the AO system will be able to collect data much faster than in the past. Further, the control of this wavefront sensor will be quite flexible since it can be controlled remotely. Must be able to sense wavefront in the 1064 nm - 1550 nm wavelength range. Must be able to achieve a sensitivity of 1/150 of a wavelength (at 1550 nm). Must be able to collect data at a rate of 30 Hz or faster. Must provide a software for remotely (from another networked computer) controlling the sensor using an interface that can be accessed from MATLAB, C++, and LabVIEW. Must be able to save raw camera image, wavefront gradients, and reconstructed wavefront. The size standard for this effort is 500 employees. NAICS: 541710 FSC: 6625 DELIVERY: TBD FOB : Destination Payment terms: Net 30 days Evaluation of Award will be based on overall BEST VALUE to the Government, Technical Capabilities, Price and Past Performance.
