SOL: F1SEAD7213AG10, ITR - 14848 DUE: 05 SEP 07 POC: Larry Haines, Jr., 661-277-0470 (fax) DESC: This is a combined synopsis /request for quotation (RFQ) for Sole Source Only Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 8.405-6(b)(1), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written RFQ will not be issued. The RFQ's number: F1SEAD7213AG10, ITR ? 14848, is issued as a RFQ for a firm-fixed price contract. Quotes will be evaluated using the criteria of Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA.) The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular and DFARS Change Notice (DCN). The acquisition is unrestricted. The standard industrial classification code is: D308. The NAICS code is: 541511 and the small business size standard is: $ 23,000,000.00. All items must be Brand Name: Amherst Systems, Inc. This computer upgrade is in support of three rack-mounted DEC Alpha computers and four tower DEC Alpha computers to three rack-mountable and four tower PCs running Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating Systems with Combat Electromagnetic Environment (CEESIM) software installed and integrated. It also upgrades the firmware in circuit card assemblies (CCA) in both CEESIM digital generatin systems (DGS) and remote Radio Frequency (RF) carts. Acceptance testing will be provided with an updated documentation package. The acquisition is as follows: CLIN 0001 - Description: Upgrade of Base Computer System. P/N: 280000, Quantity is 0001 each. CLIN 0002 ? Description: Upgrade of Base Computer System. P/N: 280000, Quantity is 0002 each. CLIN 0003 ? Description: Upgrade of Base Computer System. P/N: 280000, Quantity is 0004 each Delivery and acceptance is at Edwards AFB CA 93524, FOB Destination. Period of Performance: Twelve Months (One (1) Year, After Receipt of Award-(01 Oct 07 ? 30 Sep 08)). The following provisions and clauses apply: Provision 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
