- The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is providing Systems Integration for the U.S. Department of Energy's Hydrogen Program. This support includes technical analysis and coordination of the program's Annual Merit Review (AMR), integration of the Annual Progress Report (APR), support to the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee (HTAC), and technical analyses for several Subprogram and Technical Team areas. In meeting its ongoing programmatic requirements for Systems Integration, NREL requires assistance in coordinating the AMR, integrating the APR, supporting HTAC, and technical analysis for Subprogram and Technical team areas. Areas of Expertise: Individuals or organizations responding to this Sources Sought request must be able to provide the following types of technical and logistical support: Technical Support: *Preparation of a technical Annual Progress Report, as a hardbound document exceeding 1,000 pages in length, based on input from the Hydrogen Program management staff. *Technical review and analysis support to the Hydrogen Program and to the Hydrogen Technical and Fuel Cell Advisory Committee. *Maintenance and continuing population of an on-line Analysis Repository for the Hydrogen Program. Logistical Support: *Planning, preparation for, and coordination of the Hydrogen Program Annual Merit Review in the Washington D.C area. Subtask areas include: 1) Pre-event planning and contracting for a conference of 1,000 attendees. 2) Liaison with meeting site and conducting the supporting functions for the meeting. 3) Finalizing meeting site and subcontractor arrangements following the meeting. *Hosting technical coordination meetings of up to 100 attendees, either in the Washington D.C. area or at other locations in the United States. *Providing support to the Hydrogen Technical and Fuel Cell Advisory Committee. Subtask areas include: 1) Planning and coordinating a meeting site in the Washington D.C area. 2) Providing administrative support to meetings. The response to this sources sought document is limited to 8 pages of single spaced text of 12-point Arial font or equivalent, with minimum 1" margins all around. Brevity is encouraged. Organizations interested in working with NREL to provide the support required in the Areas of Expertise listed above, must describe the company's demonstrated capabilities, attributes, and skills in both technical support to a research and development program and logistical support to large technical conferences.
