- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA (VISN 7), is issuing a solicitation for annual boiler inspection services at the VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Rd, Columbia SC for the period October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008, with four (4) option years. This inspection requires the annual internal and external inspections and safety device testing for boilers. First and second inspections shall consist of an Internal/External inspection of Boilers. Contractor is to provide own gas free testing, attendant, and all safety equipment. The boiler and feedwater deaerator inspections shall comply with the guidelines in the current issue of the NATIONAL BOARD INSPECTION CODE, Part RB, Inservice Inspection of Pressure-Retaining Items, and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VI or VII as applicable. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310, with a size standard of $6.5 million. This procurement is 100% set aside for service disable veteran owned businesses.
