- The Woodstock Job Corps Center would like to receive bids for the construction and installation of bleacher seating in our gymnasium.We request a bid for seating that would provide for a minimum of 480 seats with flex row ADA seating along the first row. It needs to contain removable aisle rails and self storing end rails. The system is required to operate on a powered unit (not manual). Seating should be made of a plastic material. The intent of this scope of work is to provide new bleacher seating in the Gym. 1.1 Scope of Work: A: This project consists of but not limited to the installation of a power operated bleacher system. B: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the project in its entirety according to this scope of work. 1.2 Location: A: The project is located at the Woodstock Job Corps Center at 10900 Old Court Rd, Woodstock Md 21163. 1.3 Regulations: A: All work under this contract shall conform with all applicable sections of the Building Code. 1.4 Demolition/Removal: A: The contractor shall remove the wall mounted existing bleachers. B: The contractor shall verify location and extent of demolition required to accomplish the work. C: Construction debris must be removed from the site and construction area must be secured to the centers satisfaction at the end of each workday. 1.5 Bleacher System: A: The contractor shall supply and install a power operated bleacher system with seating for 480 Minimum. Length of bleacher seating will be 78 feet, 6 inches long; approximately 11 rows are needed. B: The bleacher system must have a flex-row of ADA seating, removable aisle rails and self storing end rails. C: The bleacher system must be able to be relocated from one side of the Gym to the other side. 1.6 Rules: A: The contractor shall at all times abide by the centers rules and regulations. B: The contractor must meet the Davis Bacon Act Wage Requirement. 1.7 Warranty: A: All materials, services and labor shall be warranted free for a period of one year. Pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Woodstock Job Corps Center (address above). Bids may be faxed or e-mailed. Bids must be received by 4:00 PM August 31, 2007 NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (24-AUG-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
