- Description
- The Social Security Administration, Region II, requires a contractor to remove existing and furnish and install new exhaust fans in restrooms on floors 1 thru 11 at the Addabbo Federal Building, located in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Current fans EF-12-10 have a capacity of 15,950 CFM at a static pressure of 1-1/2, and fans EF-12-11 have a capacity of 15,825 CFM at a static pressure of 1-3/4. The replacement fans used in this upgrade must have at least a twenty (20) percent greater capacity than the existing fans. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 238220 with a size standard of $13 million. The Request for Quotation is expected to be issued on approximately Aug. 27, 2007 and may be downloaded at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The date for a site visit will be contained in the solicitation.
