Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to solicit on a full and open competition basis for telecommunication switch maintenance support services in support of NCTAMS Norfolk and NCTS Jacksonville Base Communications Offices (BCOs)located at the following sites: SUBASE New London, CT, NAS Pensacola Corry Station, FL, NAS Jacksonville, FL, NAVSTA Mayport, FL, NSA Panama City, FL, NAS Pensacola, FL, NAS Pensacola Saufley Field, FL, NAS Pensacola Whiting Field, FL, NSA Athens, GA, NAS (No East West or West Bank or JRB) New Orleans, LA, CBC Gulfport, MS, NAS Meridan, MS, NSY Portsmouth, VA, WPNSTA Earl Colts Neck, NJ, NAVSTA Newport, RI, WPNSTA Charleston, SC, NAVSTA Corpus Christi, TX, NAVSTA Ingleside, TX, NAVSTA Kingsville, TX, NAS Oceana Annex Dam Neck, VA, NAVSTA and NSA Norfolk, VA, NSA Norfolk Annex Northwest, VA, NSA Oceana, VA, NSY Norfolk Portsmouth, VA and WPNSTA Yorktown, VA. Specifically, t he services shall provide corrective and preventive maintenance for Navy-owned Avaya, Lucent, and Nortel telephone switching platforms and adjunct equipment to be performed at the aforementioned sites. The proposed period of performance will consist of 60 months encompassing a six month base period commencing 01 April 2008 and continuing through 30 September 2009, four, one-year options plus one, six-month option period. Request for Proposal (RFP) N00189-07-R-1989(Note: RFP number to be revised at time of issuance) contemplates a Firm Fixed Price-type contract. The RFP will be evaluated on a best value basis with technical being more important than price. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit proposals for consideration of the Government. It is the intention of the Navy to issue this RFP through electronic means only. This RFP shall be available upon issuance at http://www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. T he NAICS code for this requirement is 517310 with a size standard of 1 ,500 employees.
