- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2, Webster Field St Inigoes, Maryland intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Non-Competitive Indefinite Quantity / Indefinite Delivery contract with Brandywine Communications, 1153 Warner Ave, Tustin, CA 92780-6458. This Base Year and four one year option contract is to procure approximately 200 Time Position Interface (TPI) Peripheral Mezzanine Cards (PMC) in the following manner; Part Number 011000046 Time Position Interface PMC no more than 40 per year, Part Number 011000024 Transformer Coupled Unit no more than 40 per year, NSP shipping for the Time Position Interface PMC and the Transformer Coupled Unit approximately 3 per year, for five years. The Interrogator System AN/UPX-29(V) Centralized Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) is made up of two major components, the AN/UPX-24(V) Interrogator Set and the Antenna Group OE-120 (_)/UPX. The above listed parts are subcomponents of the AN/UPX-24(V) as part of the Mode 5 Upgrade. Brandywine Communications is the only known company that produces a commercial off-the shelf time synchronization circuit card assembly in a PMC form factor that meets the general AN/UPX-24(V) system requirements for Mark XIIA Mode 5 functionality without modifications. The acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other service or supply will satisfy the agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they identify their interest and capability. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement as a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
