- This acqusition is being conducted under FAR 13.5 test procedures for commerical items. The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC), on behalf of the United States Navy, has a requirement for various medical equipment at locations including Naval Medical Center (NMC) San Diego, CA, Naval Hospital (NH) Lemoore, CA, and NH Corpus Christi, TX. Equipment required are CR Mammography systems, CR Imaging Systems, QC Mammography systems, and QC Workstations. It is the intent of NMLC to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.5) with FujiFilm Medical Systems, USA, Inc. who is currently the only manufacturer in the US that has a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved CR Mammography system, and the QC Workstations and other related equipment are unique to the FujiFilm system.
