- This acqusition is being conducted under FAR 13.5 test procedures for commerical items. The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC), on behalf of the United States Navy, has a requirement for various medical equipment at locations including National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, MD, Naval Medical Center (NMC) San Diego, CA, Branch Medical Clinic (BMC) Twenty-Nine Palms, CA, Naval Health Clinic (NHC) Annapolis, MD, Naval Health Center New England, Naval Hospital (NH) Camp Pendleton, CA, BMC Key West, FL, NHC Quantico, VA, NH Cherry Point, NC, NHC Patuxent River, MD, BMC Mayport, FL, BMC Albany, NH Camp Lejeune, NC, and BMC China Lake. Equipment required are QC Workstations, PACS CD Stations, CR System Upgrades, and CR Workstations. It is the intent of NMLC to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.5) with Agfa Helathcare who holds rights to software and test equipment unique to the systems upgrades and workstations, which is only available through Agfa Healthcare.
