- The Redwood National and State Parks, Crescent City, CA intends to acquire by contract: Removal and Replacement of eight gas furnaces and associated hardware; automatic switching devices, thermostats, combination alarm controllers, gas valve controllers, new sheet metal plenums, necessary testing, etc., at the Redwood National and State Parks Headquarter building located at 1111 Second Street, Crescent City, CA 95531, Del Norte County. The Government will proceed to issue a solicitation, under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition. This procurement is a Total set aside for HUBZone business concerns. Offerors will be evaluated on price, experience and past performance. Contract award will be to the offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. The Government estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. The performance period is 45 calendar days. Davis-Bacon wage rates apply to this solicitation. The proposed contract type is firm-fixed price. This solicitation will be available on or about September 6, 2007. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 (a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
